Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. wheat germ
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1/8 c. peanut oil
1/8 c. corn oil margarine
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 oz. Carob chips -- melted
(available in health food stores)
1/4 c. molasses
1 c. water
1/2 c. powdered milk

Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix until blended. Dough will be stiff. Chill. Roll dough on a greased cookie pan and cut into squares 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
